They found the pedestrian, who was dressed in all black and walking in the middle of the highway, had been struck by a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Police identified the man as Christopher Myre, of Hawkesbury, and discovered he was wanted in connection with previous charges.<\/p>\n<p>Myre was arrested at the scene and now faces charges of obstructing a peace officer, failure to comply with a release order, and failing to keep to the left edge of the roadway as a pedestrian.<\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">According to police, Myra was transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries following the collision.
