The person was not known to the people who owned the home.<\/p>\n<p>The man knocking at the door refused to identify himself to the officers and became aggressive. During his arrest, the male struck one officer in the head and fled on foot. He was taken into custody a short time later but then kicked another officer.<\/p>\n<p>Joel Vallee, age 37 of Montr\u00e9al, has been charged with:<br \/>\nAssaulting a peace officer \u2013 two counts<br \/>\nObstruct a peace officer<br \/>\nTrespass at night<\/p>\n<p>The accused was eventually released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L\u2019Orignal on Sept. 25.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges after a disturbance in Hawkesbury.
