Finally, the club presented the famed Christmas story to the community on Dec,. 12.<\/p>\n<p>The school auditorium was almost filled up with students, staff, and some parents eager to see the VCI Drama Club\u2019s interpretation of the Dickens\u2019 classic, following a script by Gary Peterson. The familiar story of \u201cthe meanest man in London Town\u201d repenting of his miserly ways and rediscovering both the joy of Christmas and his own humanity received loud applause. The<\/p>\n<p>audience itself became part of the show, serving as the corridors of time and space through which the Three Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future led Ebenezer Scrooge by the hand through his journey of rediscovery, reflection and recrimination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The \u201cMeanest Man in London Town\u201d made his stage debut at last in Vankleek Hill.
