Le conseil du canton de Hawkesbury-Est a approuv\u00e9 le r\u00e8glement 2021-37 pour une entente entre la municipalit\u00e9 et les gouvernements f\u00e9d\u00e9ral et provincial pour un financement conjoint dans le cadre du programme Green Stream pour la mise \u00e0 niveau du syst\u00e8me d’\u00e9gouts pluviaux du village de Saint-Eug\u00e8ne. <\/p>\n

Une fois achev\u00e9, le projet de 1,29 million de dollars pr\u00e9voit le remplacement d’environ un kilom\u00e8tre de conduites d’\u00e9gout pluvial autour du village et le remplacement de 45 puisards par des pompes de puisard. Les travaux comprendront \u00e9galement l’ajout de 200 m\u00e8tres de nouvelles bordures le long de la rue Fatima et le remplacement et le prolongement d’environ 200 m\u00e8tres de trottoir sur la rue Labrosse. <\/p>\n

Le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral fournira environ 40 %, soit jusqu’\u00e0 516 511,50 $, du cout du projet, tandis que le gouvernement provincial fournira environ un tiers, soit jusqu’\u00e0 430 383,21 $, du financement n\u00e9cessaire.
