{"id":141076,"date":"2026-07-15T12:09:38","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T16:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tribune-express.ca\/?p=141076"},"modified":"2026-07-15T12:11:47","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T16:11:47","slug":"public-consultation-detached-accessory-dwelling-units-dadus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tribune-express.ca\/en\/public-notices\/public-consultation-detached-accessory-dwelling-units-dadus\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Consultation \u2013 Detached Accessory Dwelling Units (DADUs)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Municipal Council of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge will hold a public consultation meeting on August 11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at Town Hall, regarding a proposed amendment to the zoning by-law to allow and regulate detached accessory dwelling units (DADUs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposed by-law includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the addition of an official definition of a detached accessory dwelling unit;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the establishment of siting and architectural integration standards;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provisions governing the relationship between the principal dwelling and the accessory dwelling unit;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the introduction of a conditional use authorization process within the affected zones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Residents are invited to attend the consultation to learn more about the proposal and provide comments.
