La Police provinciale de l’Ontario et le Bureau du commissaire des incendies ont ouvert une enquête sur les causes de ces incendies ont éclaté simultanément dans deux pizzerias, le lundi 30 juin.

OPP investigating after two pizza shops set on fire at the same time

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after fires were set at two pizza places in downtown Hawkesbury the morning before Canada Day.

On June 30, 2025, at 4:04 a.m., police responded to fires at the Salvatoré Pizza and the Pizza Pizza both located on Main Street in Hawkesbury. Firefighters contained the fire at one of the buildings and the sprinkler system extinguished the fire at the other building. The OPP, and the the Fire Marshall started an
investigation into the cause of both fires, which happened at the same time.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information related to these incidents is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888 310-1122. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
