OPP seeks information on Champlain theft

The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call from Champlain Township on Monday. Employees arrived at 7:30 on Monday, October 18, to find that a company pickup truck, trailer, and backhoe tractor were completely missing. 

According to the investigation, it was found that unknown individuals removed the equipment sometime between 9:00 p.m. the previous night and 7:30 a.m. that morning. Specifically, the business was relieved of: a white 2001 Ford F-450 with “Les Serres Legault” on the sides, with Ontario License number BA10765; a black 2014 Sure Trac trailer, with Ontario license number M55455M; and an orange 2013 Kubota Backhoe U17. 

Hawkesbury OPP are urging anyone with information to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or contact the crime stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
