Fatal snowmobile crash in Limoges

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on January 22, emergency services responded to a report of a single snowmobile collision on a trail east of Des Bénévoles Street in Limoges. OPP, paramedics, and The Nation Township Fire Department responded to the call, but 51-year-old Richard McLean of Kemptville was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A post-mortem examination has been ordered by the Office of the Chief Coroner, and the OPP continues to investigate with assistance from an OPP Technical Collision Investigator and Collision Reconstructionist. 

No further information will be released.
