Wilson Farms of Vankleek Hill will be the official Supreme Champion Sponsor for the 2026 Ontario Four-Horse Hitch series.
A major event in the Ontario agricultural community, the Four-Horse Hitch series is considered one of the most competitive events, featuring draft horse teams from across the region in displays of strength, precision, and teamwork.
The sponsor partnership between Wilson Farms and the Ontario Four-Horse Hitch representatives was announced February 17, which is the Day of the Horse, marking the start of the new Lunar Year. This particular Lunar Year is the Year of the Fire Horse, symbolizing strength, bravery, resilience, freedom, and fast-paced action, all appropriate for the 2026 Ontario Four-Horse Hitch series.
Wilson Farms is a familiar name in the draft horse show ring. The family agribusiness is well-known for its herd of more than 300 Percheron horses, along with its grain trading and transportation interests.
The 2026 Ontario Four season includes a series of qualifying events at country fairs throughout the province, finishing with the finals at the Carp Fair, during its three-day event the end of September. The fair grounds venue will see the top 10 teams compete for the champion’s title.
