Hawkesbury OPP are investigating allegations of sexual assault by an East Hawkesbury resident.
Police have filed several charges against a 62-year-old resident in East Hawkesbury Township following investigatiion of a number of sexual assault allegations that date back to July 2025.
The accused faces charges that include sexual assault, sexual interference, and supplying cannabis to a person under the age of 18.
The suspect was released following a bail hearing and is now scheduled for a first appearance in provincial court in L’Orignal September 2.
